Shameka Jones

Shameka Jones was born in West Dallas, TX, in 1983, she is the youngest of three and the only girl. She has been writing poetry since the age of 14. After years of reading fiction novels and being surrounded by writers she was inspired to write her first ever novel. Her biggest inspiration came from when she learn her mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, she need an outlet to express her bundled up feeling and began to write to take her mind off of things.

Shameka now resides in Oak Cliff where she spends most of her time writing and with her huge loving family who means the world to her.
